Sunderland AFC Head Coach Régis Le Bris is throwing his support behind Foundation of Light as the Club's official charity celebrates 25 years of changing lives.
A winning design for a special occasion!
As Sunderland AFC celebrated 25 years of its official charity, Sunday’s Foundation of Light Matchday against Leeds United featured a special matchday programme cover designed by a young supporter.
Four-year-old Reau Humble, from Castletown Primary School, came out on top in a public vote, with the colourful 'Hands' creation securing an impressive 55% of the votes.
Children from schools across the North East taking part in the Foundation’s Primary Stars programme were invited to put their creativity to the test by designing a cover for the special anniversary fixture.
Congratulations to Reau, and a big thank you to every young artist who took part. What a fantastic way to celebrate 25 years of inspiring the next generation!
Foundation of Light delivers the Premier League Primary Stars programme in schools throughout the region, inspiring children to learn through the power of football.
