Beacon Fan Zone open this Saturday

The Beacon of Light’s Fan Zone will be back in action this weekend when Sunderland AFC host Walsall in League One. Thousands of supporters have attended the Beacon’s ever-popular Fan Zone throughout the winter months, with pre-match entertainment and much more available throughout the countdown to kick-off. This Saturday, Foundation of Light once again have a wealth of activities planned, with live music kicking things off before the Wise Men Say and Roker Rapport podcasts discuss all things red and white. There will also be an opportunity to meet former and current Sunderland players, while Samson and Delilah will also be on hand to keep junior supporters entertained. A range of food is on offer from the Beacon of Light’s café and supporters will be also able to purchase alcoholic and soft drinks on site. The Fan Zone is open to home and away fans, but supporters are advised to arrive early as capacity is limited.
