Beacon of Light corporate tournament announced
Updated 16 July 2018 Foundation of Light is hosting a special 5-a-side Corporate Tournament to celebrate the opening of the state-of-the-art Beacon of Light. Taking place on the Beacon's brand new 3G 5-a-side pitches and in the 4G rooftop football barn on Thursday 30th August from 2pm, this is an exclusive chance for businesses to play in the inaugural tournament which is expected to become an annual fixture. Teams will be placed into groups with the winners advancing to the play-offs for the chance to lift the trophy. Proceeds from the tournament will go towards the life-changing community work done by Foundation of Light who have recently moved into the £20m facility.
We’ve been very lucky to enjoy the support of our local business community in the planning, construction and now completion of the Beacon of Light. This Corporate Tournament is a great chance to enjoy our pristine, state-of-the-art facilities, meet and compete with other local businesses, and support the positive community work that will take place at the Beacon of Light helping hundreds of thousands every year.
Phil King, Beacon of Light General Manager
