From his brief professional football career in Australia, which proved to be a stepping stone to the start of his journey in PE teaching, to his current work with the Football Association, Ryan Davies shares useful anecdotes, insight, and advice from his career.
On what a successful session looks like to him, Ryan said: “For me, what makes a high-quality PE session is if every child leaves that lesson, and they already can’t wait for the next one.
“For me, that’s success.”

June was another action-packed month for Foundation of Light, as we celebrated female sport and started preparations for the 2026/27 season.
The month formed part of the Together Through Sport campaign with the aim of inspiring more girls to get active and enjoy the benefits of sport.
