Foundation of Light reflects on year of impact in 2023/24 yearbook
Foundation of Light has proudly released our annual yearbook, showcasing a year of impact at Sunderland AFC’s official charity.
The news that two of our girls have secured American scholarships, just shows that our Post-16 programme is successfully helping young people to progress in both education and football."The hard work that the girls have put in has paved the way for future scholars to explore US scholarships and football opportunities abroad.” Last month a number of the scholars travelled to Malta where they took part in mid-season training and faced competition from other Maltese clubs. Megan added: “The support I’ve received from the Foundation of Light in the last two years has been unbelievable. I can most definitely say I’ll never forget my experiences with the best squad and coaching staff.”

After suffering heartbreaking losses of close friends, Lewis Spence immediately connected with the Game of II Halves project and knew that he had to get involved.
