Energy partner makes great savings for SAFC’s charity

As soaring energy bills affect millions across the UK, Foundation of Light, the official charity of Sunderland AFC, has been able to make significant savings on energy costs thanks to their partnership with Great Annual Savings.

The energy provider carried out a health check for the Foundation on their Beacon of Light home and was able to help the charity save money straight away.

Lowering the costs immediately and providing a five-year fixed-term rate, ensuring the Foundation will not be impacted by the increasing energy costs.

Great Annual Savings were able to reduce costs for the Foundation and improve their utility deals, saving the charity a significant amount of money.

Clare Wilson, the Foundation of Light’s Head of Partnerships said: “We saved money as soon as we signed the deal with Great Annual Savings in early 2020.

“The team reviewed the Beacon of Light’s energy provision and were able to improve on the prices we were paying immediately; saving us money there and then, as well as securing a fixed-term deal so that fortunately, we won’t be impacted by the current price rises.

“As a charitable organisation this is a huge benefit to us.”
