England disabled Talent Day announced
Foundation of Light and Durham FA are hosting a Talent Day for disabled footballers to showcase their skills in the hope of becoming future England internationals.
Each year, the FA hold England Talent Days across the country which give players the opportunity to access expert coaching with the goal of identifying the next Three Lions stars.
The County Durham event will take place on Wednesday 25th April, 1pm –4pm at East Durham College, Peterlee for the following impairment groups: Amputee, Blind, Deaf, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disability and Partially Sighted.
The day will consist of a short welcome introduction, followed by a two-hour football session which will include a series of drills and games delivered by specialist Coaches.
Following the Talent Day, players may then be selected and invited to join their respective impairment specific Regional Talent Hubs for the season.
