Foundation of Light hosts ultimate day of family fun
Foundation of Light provided the ultimate day of summer fun at the Beacon of Light with the help of partners Stagecoach.
Evening and Weekend courses return for New Year
Foundation of Light Evening and Weekend courses are back for the new year! The ever-popular sessions are available to book online now.
The timetable features new Little Dribblers and Skills Centre sessions in Quaking Houses near Stanley, as well as the regular favourites at the Beacon of Light and further afield.
Sessions are led by UEFA and FA-qualified coaches, ensuring participants get the most out of their time on the pitch. Alongside supporting their football development, Evening and Weekend courses offer children a great opportunity to socialise and meet new friends.
The courses kick-off on Monday 6th January and there is something for every child, from those starting their footballing journeys to the ones trying to refine their skills further.
Take a look at the sessions available:
1:1 Coaching - Receive specialist training delivered by our UEFA and FA-qualified coaches, aimed at developing specific parts of your game.
Little Dribblers/Little Dribblers with parents - Give your child a chance to take to the pitch for the first time. Our coaches will help your child learn the basics whilst also having fun.
Wildcats – Inspired by the Lionesses? Our Wildcats sessions provide a great opportunity for girls to try football and improve their skills.
Skills Centre (5-7 years and 8-14 years) – Enjoy a session for all abilities with skill-specific drills and practices from our UEFA and FA-qualified coaches.
Soccer Saturday and Super Sunday (5-7 years and 8-14 years) – Perfect for those aged 5-11, not currently playing for a team and looking to develop their football skills in a safe and fun environment.
Cage Football – A session consisting of small-sided games where the ball doesn’t go out, with quick decision-making, lots of touches on the ball, brilliant for player development!
Evening and weekend courses are available to book now with prices from £14 per block booking (£2 per session).
