Female disability programme launched

Female disability programme launched
Foundation of Light has teamed up with the University of Sunderland to launch a new female disability programme. Open to adults with a wide range of physical and learning needs, sessions focus on enjoying sport, with opportunities for those who wish to progress into local leagues. Supported by Premier League Girls Football, the weekly programme starts on the Wednesday 3rd October 2018 (2pm-3pm) at the Beacon of Light (SR5 1SN) and is delivered by the Foundation's qualified and experienced disability coaches.
This is a hugely exciting programme and we can't wait to get started. Together with the University of Sunderland and the Premier League, we are delighted to provide more opportunities for people to get into sport where they can meet new people, develop their football skills as well as getting fit and active.
