Young innovators shine in Foundation of Light’s 2026 Harrison Challenge
Foundation of Light’s 2026 Harrison Challenge winners have been crowned following the final presentations at the Beacon of Light.
We’re delighted to receive this award, especially when we were in such a strong category with some great nominees. This award is testament to the fantastic team we have at the foundation who share our vision for a better future for everyone.
Jamie Wright, Assistant Director for Sales and DeliveryPhil King, Assistant Director (Commercial) added “The Portfolio Awards are renowned for showing off the best that the region has to offer and we’re incredibly proud to be considered part of it.” “Like many of the other award winners we’re dedicated to improving life in Wearside, and the wider north east, and we’re glad that the judges recognised our efforts to achieve this.” Foundation of Light were also shortlisted for the Social Enterprise and Best Training Provider Categories, and the Beacon of Light was shortlisted for Best Leisure Business. The award win is Foundation of Light’s second in a month alongside the ‘Uniquely North East’ gong at the North East Charity Awards.
