Win one-off Sunderland AFC prizes with Foundation's '12Days of Christmas'
Sunderland AFC’s official charity is bringing supporters the chance to win money can’t buy prizes ahead of Christmas.
Foundation of Light are pleased to launch an exciting new initiative to develop female football coaches in Sunderland.
Sunderland AFC’s official charity will inspire and develop the next generation of female coaches through our Volunteer Coach Development programme.
The programme will offer up and coming coaches a chance to work with Foundation of Light’s Emerging Talent Centre and the Sunderland AFC Girls’ Academy while working towards FA qualifications.
Successful candidates will have access to the FA Playmaker course, Level One Introduction to Coaching, Safeguarding, Emergency Aid, and the UEFA C license.
Volunteer work with the Foundation of Light will provide the perfect platform for participants to apply their learning and attain essential evidence for their qualifications.
It will also give them the chance to work with experienced coaches as well as taking part in six individualised mentorship meetings, CPD workshops, and informal coaching masterclasses.
Upon completion of the course, there may be further employment opportunities within the Foundation of Light for those who progress through the programme.
