Foundation of Light to celebrate life-changing 25 years at 2026 Gala Awards Dinner

Foundation of Light’s Gala Awards Dinner will return in 2026, marking a milestone celebration of 25 years of life-changing impact across the North East on Friday 2 October.

As the official charity of Sunderland AFC, Foundation of Light will showcase the achievements and inspiring stories of individuals whose lives have been transformed through its programmes.

This year’s Awards Dinner holds particular significance, as the organisation celebrates a quarter century of impact ahead of its 25th anniversary in November.

The evening will conclude with a headline performance from the SoundHouse Band. Renowned as a collective of some of the UK’s finest musicians, the SoundHouse Band pride themselves on their authentic sound and exceptional musicianship providing an incredible live music experience.

“This year’s event is especially meaningful as we celebrate 25 years of the Foundation of Light and our transformative work across our communities.

“Each story we share on the night will provide a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when people are given the opportunity and support to thrive.
