Wear 25: Young footballer Isla Cameron earns England Deaf Futsal call-up
Foundation of Light has recognised Isla Cameron as one of its Wear 25 award winners, following her call-up to the England U13s Deaf Futsal team.
I am honoured to be performing at the Foundation of Light’s Gala Dinner, at this unique venue. I am really looking forward to this very special evening, celebrating the positive difference the Foundation has made to so many people’s lives.
Beverley KnightJemma Dowson, Foundation of Light’s Head of Events added: “We are delighted to announce that the queen of British soul will be performing at our Gala Awards. Beverley adds stardust to an already special evening for our community. “Last year, songs of Foundation Trustee Sir Tim Rice were performed live by West End artists and this year is set to be bigger and better, making the Gala Dinner the perfect platform to share the emotional and inspiring stories of those we have helped.” A LIMITED number of tickets are available for the event starting from £150 per person which includes VIP drinks reception and three course awards dinner. All money raised will go towards community projects delivered by the Foundation of Light.

This year’s event carries extra significance as Sunderland AFC’s official charity celebrates its 25th anniversary, making it a perfect opportunity to come together and mark a milestone year.
Players from the Emerging Talent Centre, Player Development Club, and Female Scholarship programmes, ranging from U13s to U18s, took part in a week-long training camp in the Netherlands.
