Ha’way and Play your part

Ha’way and Play your part
Sunderland fans have already played their part in supporting the Foundation of Light’s new matchday lottery, Ha’way and Play. Since launching earlier this season four lucky supporters have each bagged a £1,000 cash prize, with others winning signed SAFC shirts, a stay at Seaham Hall and a Spa Day at Ramside Hall. The club’s official charity raise vital funds through their matchday lottery and since we can’t experience matchdays altogether in the Stadium of Light, it has moved online at www.hawayandplay.com Black Cats fan Kevin bought lottery tickets for the first time ahead of the win over Ipswich Town and he too was a winner! Kevin and his girlfriend Emma won £1,000 to help them in the run up to Christmas and cheer up what has been a pretty tough year. A regular at the SoL, Kevin admitted he’s never taken part in the lottery before but thought he’d have a go since playing online was an easier option for him. “I know it's not a fortune,” Kevin said, “but it really will mean I can relax a bit more about Christmas. “I never really played the previous half time lottery as it was never very convenient getting into the match in time after a few pints, but I decided to buy tickets for Ha’way and Play as a way to support the Foundation of Light since nobody can attend matches at the minute – and I’m pleased I did!” Fans can purchase tickets online in advance of each SAFC home game and up until half time. Tickets are on sale now for the next draw which takes place on Tuesday 1 December, when the Lads host Burton Albion. The Ha’way and Play lottery offers more ways to play, more prizes to win and it’s a great way to support the football club’s official charity. Ha’way and Play Lottery:
  • Buy tickets online at hawayandplay.com
  • Tickets start at £5 with five chances to win
  • Proceeds are split 50-50 between prize pots and supporting the Foundation
  • Bonus chance of winning with a rollover jackpot each week
  • Draw made during second half of each SAFC home game
Ha’way and Play offers fans more chances to win – including cash prizes and money can’t buy experiences. And all proceeds from tickets you purchase goes straight back into supporting the local community, helping young people and families throughout the north east.
