Membership adds up for Certax
Sunderland-based accountancy firm Certax are one of the latest businesses to sign up to Foundation of Light ‘s Corporate Membership scheme. They came on board earlier this summer to open doors to network with like-minded people and align with other businesses. Certax have 20-years’ experience of accountancy, tax and business and pride themselves on building long-term relationships with clients and helping their businesses succeed. “Being a Corporate Member has allowed us to align with other well-respected businesses.,” Pauline Hendy from Certax explained. “The first event we attended was the Business Breakfast and we really enjoyed it. “We recognise that the Foundation of Light is a very high-profile organisation, who are very visible for the worthwhile work they do throughout the community. “We are proud, to be seen to be associated with their achievements, engaging families, and people of all ages, making a difference to their lives. Whilst we recognise our support has the potential to raise awareness of our business, highlighting the brand, and logo visibility via the boot-tile we purchased, it’s also a great feeling to give something back to the community.” Corporate Membership directly supports the Foundation and gives you access to regular events featuring presentations from regional business experts, keeping you abreast of developments in the North East business landscape. Just recently Foundation of Light corporate members were invited to our Fixtures Breakfast event at the Beacon of Light, an opportunity to hear from Sunderland AFC boss Lee Johnson, Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman and Chief Operating Officer Steve Davison.
