Stagecoach gets behind Foundation of Light's milestone matchday
Stagecoach is getting behind Foundation of Light's 25th anniversary celebrations as the official sponsor of the matchday Fan Zone at the Beacon of Light.
New football sessions launched in Washington and Downhill
Foundation of Light has added new dates and locations to its popular Skills Centre programme, giving more young players across Sunderland and Washington the chance to develop their football.
Designed for children aged 5 - 11, Skills Centres provide fun, high-quality coaching sessions where youngsters can build confidence, develop their technique and, most importantly, enjoy playing football.
The new sessions include two female-only Skills Centres at Downhill Hub, creating more opportunities for girls to get involved and develop their game.
New sessions:
- Monday, 4.30–5.30pm – Washington Hub
- Wednesday, 5–6pm – Downhill Hub | Female only
- Thursday, 4.30–5.30pm – Downhill Hub | Female only
Places are limited to 24 players per session, so early booking is recommended.
