New mental health drop-in sessions offer friendly support
People across Sunderland are being invited to access free, welcoming mental health drop-in sessions delivered by Foundation of Light's Game of II Halves programme.
It is great to be able to celebrate important days like International Women’s Day. Linking the programme to significant days in the calendar really makes the youngsters think about their beliefs and helps raise awareness.
Kylie Ellis, Education and Skills OfficerThe Foundation of Light is one of 10 sports-based projects across the UK to receive funding and will be delivered to 9-19-year olds throughout the region. Building a Stronger Britain Together programme, is centred in schools around anti-discrimination, tolerance and racism awareness.
