Play under the lights and test yourself against some of the best local teams in Foundation of Light's first U16s Floodlit Cup. Just £25 per team, the tournament will be held over five weeks with the group stages kicking off on Thursday 7th November (6.30pm-8.30pm) at Perth Green, Jarrow (NE32 4AQ). The top team in each group will qualify for Finals Night on Thursday 12th December. The 'Under the Lights' Floodlit Cup is being run by coaches from the Foundation's Football Scholarship which gives young footballers aged 16+ the chance to represent Sunderland AFC in national competition against the likes of Manchester City, Newcastle United and Everton whilst completing further education including A-levels. The coaches will be on hand for players during the tournament to discuss the Scholarship programme and its entry requirements. Please note: Teams must be able to play in at least one of the group stage nights.
