Le Bris backs Foundation's anniversary matchday
Sunderland AFC Head Coach Régis Le Bris is throwing his support behind Foundation of Light as the Club's official charity celebrates 25 years of changing lives.
Sir Bob Murray's autobiography, I'd Do It All Again, is being released in paperback on 5 November 2026, coinciding with Sunderland AFC's return to European football after over 50 years.
With an updated final chapter, a new epilogue and a redesigned cover, the paperback brings Sir Bob's story right up to date.
The new epilogue gives Sir Bob's take on Sunderland's return to the Premier League, European football and what lies ahead for the Stadium of Light. He doesn't shy away from the bigger issues facing the game either, sharing his concerns about financial fair play, the Manchester City case and the direction football is heading. There's also plenty to say about the changing face of Sunderland and the continuing work of the Foundation of Light.
He said: “The response to the original book has been wonderful, and I'm very grateful for the support it has given the Foundation of Light. Bringing out a paperback means we can reach more readers and hopefully raise even more money for the Foundation. I've also been able to bring the story up to date, and what a difference a few years have made. To see the Club back in the Premier League and playing in Europe again is fantastic. I couldn't be happier with what they've achieved.”
Priced at £14.99, the paperback will be available for the first time through bookshops including Waterstones and local independent booksellers, as well as online retailers such as Amazon, bringing the book to a wider audience in time for Christmas.
Sir Bob will celebrate the paperback launch with two book signings in Sunderland on Thursday 5 November, the day of the Club's next home Europa League match. He will be at Waterstones in The Bridges from 12.30pm, followed by the Fans Museum from 4.30pm, where he will be reunited with a familiar piece of Sunderland history – the original boardroom table from Roker Park, where he will sign copies of his book.
