Wear 25: Hospitality student Tolu's journey to first qualification and confident presenter
Hospitality student Tolu has made remarkable progress with the Foundation of Light’s Study Programme so far, earning her a Wear 25 Award.
Another round of prize draws has been launched ahead of Foundation of Light Day.
Ahead of our dedicated Sunderland AFC matchday, the Foundation is bringing supporters the chance to win one-off prizes and experiences.
On Foundation of Light Day, we will be raising awareness and funds for our ‘Heart on your Sleeve’ campaign which is using the power of football to urge Sunderland supporters to come together to help and inspire one another.
Heart on your Sleeve focuses on three main areas of wellbeing – passion, physical health, and mental health.
Our Crowdfunder draws offer supporters the chance to purchase entries into a random draw, with the proceeds supporting Foundation of Light.

Sunderland’s number 5 and Northern Ireland international Dan Ballard has donated this pair of signed matchworn boots, which will form part of an excellent memorabilia package alongside a signed print.

We’re offering more places to take part in a half-time penalty shootout on Foundation of Light Day – a unique opportunity to take to the hallowed turf of the Stadium of Light as you take on SAFC mascot Samson.

A 2023/24 away shirt signed by the league-leading Sunderland AFC Women squad. The winner will also receive four match tickets for a crucial River Wear Derby vs Durham Women FC.
