Foundation of Light holiday courses are back for the February half-term!
February’s line-up includes varied activities such as an Esports and Robots class for those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) as well as our range of football sessions for children of all ages and abilities.
Our ever-popular holiday courses help keep young people social and active during school breaks while providing a safe environment.
Most activities take place at the Beacon of Light, with further sessions also taking place in facilities across Sunderland, Boldon, Beamish, and Wellfield.
Here’s some of February’s holiday course line-up:
Disability Multi-sports – Enjoy a range of sports including basketball, boxing, hockey, cricket, football and many more.
Holiday Club – Every day at Holiday Club is different. Participants enjoy a range of activities from multi-sport to arts and crafts.
Making Moves On Tour – Our Making Moves disability programme is launching its first experience day, starting with a Stadium of Light visit which will include a chance to see behind the scenes of the press rooms as well as some warm-up games and activities.
Football Courses – We have various football courses, offering something for every child, from those starting their footballing journeys to the ones trying to refine their skills further. Our football courses are based in Sunderland at the Beacon of Light, Ford Hub, and Bede College with some delivery further afield in Wellfield and Beamish.
And much more…
