Popular challenges return for summer

Popular challenges return for summer
We have plenty of activities to keep families and supporters engaged across the summer months! After our successful Fit For FoL Lockdown Challenge we are hoping more people can get involved as restrictions lift across Wearside and beyond. Our annual Cycle Challenge returns in a bid to get people on their bikes again. This year’s ride is a little different to previous years, due to travel restrictions, however we’re still looking forward to getting everyone together. If you love cycling join us this summer for the one-day ride, on Saturday 10 July, starting and finishing at the Beacon of Light, we’ll travel 85 miles and climb 4,600 feet. Grafton Group plc are on board as our Cycle Challenge sponsors once again, this will be the ninth time the market leader in DIY retailing and manufacturing have supported the event. To register your interest or for more details on email jemma.dowson@foundationoflight.co.uk Ahead of our Cycle Challenge, we’ll be hosting our Landmark Challenge, in association with Get Out Get Active, where we’ll be encouraging people to sign up via a special app and go head-to-head to rack up the most miles. Full details will be available later this month.
