Danielle Chapman, Premier League Primary Stars Education CoordinatorThe winners were ‘Cool Costa Kids’ from Ox Close Primary who wowed the judges with their design and features which included lava-protected coating on the shoe due to volcanoes in Costa Rica, and Bluetooth technology so children in remote parts of the country can listen to the educational programming on the radio. Samson’s Shoes is part of the Foundation of Light’s portfolio of programmes for Primary Schools that are available across Sunderland, County Durham and South Tyneside.
