SAFC LADIES SKIPPER IN VIRTUAL HOT SEAT

SAFC LADIES SKIPPER IN VIRTUAL HOT SEAT
Youngsters on Foundation of Light’s player development courses have been keeping busy online this week, during special question and answer sessions. The players joined SAFC Ladies’ Keira Ramshaw on Zoom, where they pitched questions to the Ladies’ skipper for almost an hour. Keira shared stories of how she began playing football and spoke about different things she’s come up against in her career. Both parents and children found the session useful, as the Foundation of Light continues to support participants through online provision. Thank you for facilitating a really good session,” was the feedback we received from Ann Coulson and she also asked us to thank Keira for taking her time to chat to the kids. “Keira was great. She’s very inspirational; Lillie (and me!) learned a lot from listening to her!” Former SAFC player of the year Danny Collins also joined the kids in the hot seat, the defender was grilled on his experiences dealing with both promotion and relegation with the Black Cats and had plenty of tales to tell about all of the different players he’s starred alongside.
