Finalists are getting ready to hit the catwalk in a bid to be crowned
Top Model of Sunderland.
The annual competition, which takes place on Saturday 16h May at the Rad, raises vital funds for
Sunderland AFC’s official charity, the Foundation of Light. Top Model of Sunderland has been raising money for the Foundation of Light for five years, and so far, has raised nearly £20,000 to support life-changing work delivered across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham.
Ailish Shaw, Top Model Director said: “Entrants can be any size, shape or height. The only stipulation is they have to be aged 16-29 and that’s only to meet the Supermodel England rules. Being a mum shouldn’t stand in your way of competing and doing what you want to do.”
Finalists will compete in four rounds on the night; jeans and t-shirt, personal style, Lula & Me boutique outfits and evening wear.
Cherie Lauder, Foundation of Light’s Donor Relations Officer added: “I would like to thank Top Model of Sunderland for their continued support. Money raised has gone to helping the lives in the region through our award-winning programmes. We love getting involved and wish all the finalists the best of luck.”
