Improve your chances of getting work or progressing into further education by developing work and life skills.
Our Study Programme engages, inspires and educates young people aged 16-19 by helping them achieve nationally recognised qualifications, improve their numeracy and literacy skills and gain practical working experience.
Students will be provided with individually tailored Vocational Pathways that could include:
- Hospitality and Tourism
- Health and Social Care
- Child Care
- Sport (Football)
- Esports
Students will be provided with the opportunity to gain qualifications in the following:
- BTEC Level 1 Health and Social Care
- BTEC Level 1 Child Care
- BTEC Level 1 Sport and Leisure

BTEC Level 1 Hospitality and Catering
- BTEC Level 1 Vocational Studies in Esports
- BTEC Level 2 in Personal Growth and Development
- Maths and English qualifications
Students will be given the opportunity to partake in enrichment activities including karate, art, career talks, workplace visits, team building, problem solving days and work placement opportunities with top local employers.
Eligibility
- Students must be 16-18 years old or up to 24 with an EHCP (EHCP are based on a needs met criteria and consultation)
- No prior qualifications needed.
- You may be entitled to claim travel expenses depending on your personal circumstances.
- £15 week bursary
- SAFC experiences - tours, attend matches, meet the players
- Links to local employers
