Work Experience

Foundation of Light offers Year 10 students opportunities to work alongside our full-time staff at the Beacon of Light during the school holidays throughout the year.

During their time with us, the students will be able to observe, assist, and deliver sessions where appropriate. Students will be able to experience what it's like to be a sports coach.

Although our opportunity doesn't match most schools' designated work experience weeks, some schools are flexible and will allow for this to replace the designated week. 

Please ask your child's school if this is possible before expressing your interest in our offer. 

Please note, we only have limited places available during each school holiday week.

Easter

Week 1 - Monday 6 April - Friday 10 April

Week 2 - Monday 13 April - Friday 17 April

May Half Term

Tuesday 26 May - Friday 29 May

Summer

Week 1 - Monday 27 July - Friday 31 July

Week 2 - Monday 3 August - Thursday 6 August

Week 3 - Monday 10 August - Friday 14 August
