Foundation of Light is giving one lucky holiday course attendee the chance to walk out as a mascot at the Stadium of Light.
Beacon School Closure: 15th May 2018
Following a fire at Deptford recycling plant on Monday 14th May, situated on the opposite side of the Wear to the Stadium of Light, we have taken advice from Tyne & Wear Fire Service this morning.
The amount of smoke from the building is greatly affecting the quality of air within and around the Stadium of Light. We have therefore taken the decision for health & safety reasons to close the Beacon of Light School on Tuesday 15th May.
We will re-assess the situation on Wednesday 16th May. Please check this website for further updates. Thank you for your support and patience with this matter.
