Foundation of Light and Durham FA are giving disabled footballers the opportunity to showcase their skills in the hope of becoming future England internationals.
Each year, the Football Association holds England Talent Days across the country where players can access expert coaching with the goal of finding a team or identifying the next Three Lions stars.
The Durham FA event will take place on Tuesday 7th May, 10am-12pm at the
Beacon of Light, Sunderland (SR5 1SN) for aged 7-11 years old and 12-16 years old with the following disabilities: Amputee, Blind, Deaf (male and female), Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disability and Partially Sighted.
The day will consist of a short welcome introduction, followed by a two-hour football session on the Beacon's 4G Rooftop Football Barn which will include a series of drills and games delivered by specialist Coaches.
Following the Talent Day, players may then be selected and invited to join their respective impairment specific Regional Talent Hubs for the season.
If you wish to attend the England Talent Day, or know a player who may be suitable, please contact Andrea Fyall on
