Following the announcement of a new partnership with grassroots sports technology provider Abler, the Foundation of Light is now inviting coaches to book their teams into this summer’s football tournaments via the new online platform.
The tournaments, taking place across July and August at Ford Hub, Sunderland, will be the first live pilot of the booking system – a modern, mobile-friendly platform designed to make bookings easier, faster and more transparent for everyone involved in community sport.
“We’re excited to go live with Abler and give our customers a much better booking experience,” said Kate Smith, Head of Marketing and Communications at Foundation of Light.
“This summer’s tournaments are the perfect opportunity to show how simple, secure and user-friendly the new platform is.”
How to book your place - step-by-step guide:
Open the Link
Click the link provided or visit the booking platform directly.
Select the Tournament
From the list of available options, select the appropriate tournament and press continue.
Create an Account
You’ll be prompted to create an account when you press continue
Insert your phone number and select your country
You´ll receive a code via SMS that you insert to the login screen
Then fill in all relevant information about yourself
Create the account
Proceed to Checkout
Once the account is created, you’ll be redirected to the checkout page. There you choose yourself under "Who are you purchasing for"
Answer a Few Questions
Complete a short survey with key information about your team and players – please include names and details of all players who will be taking part in the tournament.
Make Payment
Enter payment details and confirm your booking
Confirmation
Once payment is completed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all relevant details and a payment receipt. You’ll also be invited to download the Abler App to help manage your bookings and receive any updates and notifications.
