Foundation to host Lionesses v Netherlands watch party at Beacon of Light

Foundation of Light will host a watch party for England Lionesses’ game against Netherlands which will include a one-hour football session for girls aged 5-15-years-old.

The Lionesses are looking to defend their Women's European Championship after the triumphant 2022 campaign which helped propel the growing interest in the women’s game.

Keeping up with demand, the Foundation now has more girls-only football sessions than ever before, and Sunderland AFC’s official charity is looking to celebrate this year’s campaign with some of our female players.

For just £10 per person, they can join us at the Beacon of Light for an hour of football from 4pm on Wednesday 9 July before watching England’s second group stage game against the Netherlands on our big screen from 5pm.
