Season of success and growth for Female Football Pathway
Foundation of Light’s women’s and girls’ football programme enjoyed a season of unprecedented development and success in 2024-25.
Foundation of Light are proud to offer our new ‘Game Changer’ programme to veterans for free.
Working with the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, the new session offers 30 minutes of individualised information and guidance, followed by an hour of guided low impact physical activity.
Running at the Beacon of Light on Tuesdays and Seaham Youth Centre on Wednesdays, the programme will help male armed forces veterans aged 18+ to boost both their physical and mental wellbeing.
Potential activities include walks, guided strength and conditioning exercises, and games of walking football.
Session Times
Beacon of Light – Tuesdays (6:30pm to 8:00pm)
Seaham Youth Centre – Wednesdays (5:00pm to 6:30pm)
