Special Christmas Appeal in Support of Wear One Campaign
Foundation of Light, the official charity of Sunderland AFC, is delighted to reveal details of a special Christmas appeal as part of the Wear One campaign.
The Family Learning course was good fun and it's a great way of spending time with the children and meeting new people.
Trish, who completed the Family Finance course with grandson JakeSarah Leadbitter, Further Education Officer at Foundation of Light, added: "Our Family Learning Graduations are definitely one of the high points of our year. To see so many people who have challenged themselves to learn, develop and improve their lives for themselves and their families come together in celebration is very rewarding.” "All of this is only possible thanks to our fantastic programme supporters who help us engage hundreds of families across the region." The Family Learning portfolio of programmes is supported by Sunderland City Council FACL; Durham County Council Adult Learning and Skills, Caterpillar, Karbon Homes and livin.

A group of students from the Foundation of Light’s scholarship and study programmes were given a unique opportunity to visit Japan thanks to funding from the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation.
