Foundation of Light will once again support Green Football Weekend with a number of initiatives to help champion sustainability.
Foundation of Light are encouraging the people of Sunderland to quit smoking for good this No Smoking Day, Wednesday 12 March.
There is plenty of local free support available to smokers in Sunderland who want to give quitting a go.
Foundation of Light recently launched new Stop Smoking Workshops at the Beacon of Light, which provide support and advice about quitting followed by health and fitness activities.
You can get information about how to quit and what help is available in a supportive environment, as well as support to help improve your overall physical and mental health.

Foundation of Light also partners with Sunderland Specialist Stop Smoking Service where smokers can get expert support to quit, and can now take part in the ‘Swap to Stop’ initiative.
Set a quit date with their specialists and you can receive a free vape alongside 12 weeks of 1-2-1 support.
It’s been proven that using a vape along with specialist support helps smokers quit for good, and with the range of support available to smokers, there’s never been a better time to quit.
