Wearside’s go to place for everything cosmetic, Laser Clinics United Kingdom have put pen to paper to become Foundation of Light’s latest official matchday lottery sponsor.
The Foundation’s popular Ha’way and Play lottery occurs every home game, giving Black Cats fans the chance to win £1,000, with proceeds from ticket sales supporting the work the Foundation does with the disadvantaged families across the North East.
Should the red and white army buy a lottery ticket on matchday, fans will be able to take advantage of a special offer, courtesy of the Sunderland clinic, which is based in the Bridges Shopping Centre.
Fans can scan the QR code on the back of their lottery ticket or show their ticket in store to receive 50% off a first laser hair removal or skin treatment.
Lauren Mackenzie, Clinic owner & Director, spoke of her delight to partner up with the official charity of Sunderland AFC. “As a new Sunderland business, it's really important to us to support the local community.
“The work that the Foundation of Light does in supporting communities across the North East is really inspiring. As a business, we are very supportive of any organisation that helps people with their health and well-being as this is very aligned with what we do.”
Reflecting on making a lasting impression with supporters, Mackenzie is eager to get to work and is hopeful the Sunderland faithful will soon be checking out its local cosmetic store. “Laser Clinics UK Sunderland is new to the area, but we appreciate the passion that Sunderland has towards football.
“Foundation of Light lottery is a great way of generating donations to the charity as well as giving a gift back to those who get involved.
“We are very excited to be offering our exclusive discount to those who participate and we hope to see lots of Sunderland supporters in our clinic very soon.”
Lottery tickets are on sale at the Stadium of Light at each home game. Priced at £2, you can buy them from sellers located in the concourse up until kick-off.

The draw is made pitchside during half-time, with winning numbers displayed on the big screens and TVs around the stadium. You can also find the winning numbers on the Foundation website and social channels.
Laser Clinics UK will be sponsoring Haway and Play on 4 March, 18 March and 29 April, with Stoke City, Luton Town and Watford all making the trip to the Stadium of Light.
