Life's a pitch for parents, kids and coaches

The Foundation of Light has received lots of positive feedback after football coaching resumed at the Beacon of Light. Over 90 youngsters joined in one-on-one sessions across the five outdoor pitches over the course of the last week, delighting parents, kids and coaches alike! Gemma Dickinson has made block bookings for both of her children: “My two loved every minute of it!” “They’ve missed the coaches terribly, and it was lovely seeing them back doing what they love with Jack and Steve.” Lianne Truscott also got in touch to say how much her daughter enjoyed being back at the Beacon: “Great to be back. Daisy is more determined and inspired!” A 40-minute session is priced at £20 per child, with discounts available for block bookings. Access to the pitches is from the outside at the rear of the Beacon of Light, parents and guardians are advised to stay in their cars, but are able to watch the coaching session from the other side of the fencing.
