Wear 25: Young footballer Isla Cameron earns England Deaf Futsal call-up
Foundation of Light has recognised Isla Cameron as one of its Wear 25 award winners, following her call-up to the England U13s Deaf Futsal team.
The Olympic sessions form part of the Foundation’s Health and Fitness course and can be adapted while in isolation and distance learning.
Each athletic event has been tailored for families utilising household items rather sports equipment.
The aim of the task was to help families understand weekly physical activity goals set by the NHS and define what was vigorous physical activity and moderate.
Learners were asked to score what events made them feel like they were performing vigorous physical activity or moderate.

This year’s event carries extra significance as Sunderland AFC’s official charity celebrates its 25th anniversary, making it a perfect opportunity to come together and mark a milestone year.
Players from the Emerging Talent Centre, Player Development Club, and Female Scholarship programmes, ranging from U13s to U18s, took part in a week-long training camp in the Netherlands.
