Heroes Week: How military veterans impact communities at Foundation of Light
Sunderland AFC’s official charity has several armed forces experienced personnel working across various roles and inspiring the next generation.
Foundation of Light welcomed more than 500 children to follow in the footsteps of their heroes and play at the Stadium of Light.
The ‘Play on the Pitch’ day with Sunderland AFC’s official charity allowed children aged 3-14 to experience playing in a Premier League stadium and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Each child was given an opportunity to get an individual photograph in the stadium ahead of their session.
These photos can be downloaded via Facebook where you will find an album for each session.
To download your child’s photo, simply open the album for their session time, find their photo, click the three dots, and then click ‘download’.
