Foundation of Light runners gear up for Great North Run
It’s officially Great North Run week with 60,000 runners set to take on the iconic run from Newcastle to South Shields this Sunday including 20 runners from the Foundation of Light.

In this we will take a look closer at the Wear Together coffee morning programme, for men and women aged 55 and over.

The Wear Together coffee morning is a programme which brings people together socially through activities such as bingo, quizzes and various sport activities such as badminton, table tennis and tennis.
It is also just a good chance to meet some new people or meet up with old friends. This event offers a coffee and treats such as biscuits with the chance to socialise and take part in fun activities.
The session costs £2 and is for men and women aged 55 and over, located at the Beacon Of Light in Sunderland, occurring every Wednesday 10am-12pm.
