Pupils tackle cyber-crime

Pupils tackle cyber-crime
Our Premier League Inspires programme has been educating youngsters on how to stay safe on the internet. With sessions dedicated to online bullying, fake news and the impact of influencers, they’re delivered in secondary schools to offer pupils much-needed support with challenges they may face. Foundation of Light’s Premier League Inspires programme aims to support young people in the ever-evolving world we live in. This weekend, football clubs across the country will join a four-day boycott of social media platforms, in an effort to combat abuse and discrimination, our Inspires sessions regularly tackle these issues in an effort to raise awareness but also improve attitudes, relationships and behaviour. Barbara Priestman Academy pupils took part in an interactive lesson highlighting the dangers of online bullying and gaming and how to stay safe.
