PURR-FECT VE DAY ACTIVITIES

Samson and Delilah have found the purr-fect way to mark VE Day celebrations. Inspired by the Foundation of Light’s partnership with Veterans in Crisis, you can now download everything you need to commemorate the 75^thanniversary of the end of World War 2. The Sunderland AFC-themed activity packs include colouring sheets, DIY VE Day bunting as well as special wartime recipes for potato soup and scones – something all of the family can enjoy. Download all the activity sheets here >>>  The Foundation of Light and Veterans in Crisis were recently successful in a  joint bid to the Armed Forces Covenant Fund, securing £100,000 to reduce social isolation and tackle the issues that veterans and their families experience. The funding will support the Foundation in delivering a range of fun, family-based activities at the Beacon of Light. Since we can’t meet at the Beacon of Light right now, these activity sheets provide ingenious home-based alternatives to support veterans and their families.
