Foundation CEO attends Ministry of Defence ceremony to pick up gold award
Foundation of Light Chief Executive, Lesley Spuhler, attended a special ceremony in York to pick up a Ministry of Defence award on behalf of the Foundation of Light.
Sunderland AFC’s Cashback Scheme returns when the Black Cats host QPR at the Stadium of Light on Foundation of Light Day.
The Lads side take on Queens Park Rangers on Saturday 16 March (KO 3pm) and supporters can take advantage of a special ticket offer, while fundraising for the Foundation.
SAFC’s Cashback Scheme offers local schools and sports clubs across the region access to affordable matchday tickets for supporters and cashback from the tickets goes to both the Foundation and schools and sports clubs involved.
Supporters can purchase two tickets for £20 (£10 each) for the QPR game via their local school or sports club. Following the match, £5 from every pair of tickets purchased will be donated to the school or sports club as financial support.

Sports clubs and schools are advised that there will be a limited number of tickets available through the cashback scheme, so please register your interest as early as possible.
