Foundation CEO attends Ministry of Defence ceremony to pick up gold award
Foundation of Light Chief Executive, Lesley Spuhler, attended a special ceremony in York to pick up a Ministry of Defence award on behalf of the Foundation of Light.
Foundation of Light is bringing Sunderland AFC supporters another chance to win signed Sunderland AFC memorabilia in support of the Wear One campaign.
The prizes up for grabs include signed match-prepared Wilson Isidor and Chris Rigg shirts and signed matchworn boots from Trai Hume.
These pieces would be perfect for display in any Sunderland-supporting household or would make a fantastic gift for any Black Cats fans in your life.
Supporters can enter via Crowdfunder where they can buy entries to each draw through a donation to the Foundation of Light, starting with either £2 or £5 for one draw entry.
Bigger donations will give you more entries and a greater chance of winning the random draw, but it only takes one name in the hat to give yourself an opportunity.
All proceeds raised will support Sunderland AFC’s official charity, Foundation of Light, and their Wear One campaign.
The fundraising initiative hopes to rally the community, in response to the ongoing challenges faced by many; it aims to unite the city and give a hand up to those in need, to help them live better lives.
