Win the chance to take part in a penalty shoot-out at the Stadium of Light!

As part of our Foundation of Light Day prize draws, Sunderland AFC’s official charity is bringing supporters the chance to win the unique experience of taking part in a penalty shoot-out on the Stadium of Light pitch.

Take to the hallowed turf for a half time penalty shoot-out against Sunderland AFC mascot Samson the Cat during our dedicated matchday against QPR on Saturday 16 March.

The Black Cat will jump between the sticks as you go head-to-head with fellow supporters and try and score from the spot!

Prices to enter the prize draw are as follows: £5 for two entries, £10 for five entries, and £20 for 12 entries. Click Here to Enter

Funds raised will support the ‘Heart on your Sleeve’ campaign. The campaign urges Sunderland supporters to come together to help and inspire one another, focusing on three main areas of wellbeing – passion, physical health, and mental health.

During the 2023-24 season, Foundation will be raising funds to support these initiatives and below is how your money can help:

• £5 would pay for a young person with a disability access to a sports session
• £8 pays for an older person to attend activities to stay socially active and improve physical and mental wellbeing 
• £40 will pay for a young person to have access to sessions supporting their physical, mental, and emotional health
• £100 allows us to develop mental health resources to support up to five people
