As we continue to support our
Extra Time Hub members during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have released a new
activity pack.
Our Extra Time Hubs are part of a national social movement of people in their retirement years where people meet weekly to socialise and do things they enjoy.
The latest pack includes recipes, exercises, quiz, crossword, sudoku and some of the pages have been left for you to colour in too.
A virtual coffee morning has been set up for Wednesday 10th June, to catch up and meet new people.
The catch up will be hosted on online video platform Zoom, which you can
download here.

Keith Brazier, Extra Time Hub Coordinator at the Foundation of Light said: “It is vital we keep connected with our participants and offer something to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Our recent activity and this pack will help attendees to do that.
With many not being out of their home for weeks, seeing a familiar face and having the virtual coffee mornings, helps us stay connected and support each other, through this difficult time.
Studies show that 42% of those over the age of 55 are inactive. EFL Trust’s own research revealed many people would like the opportunity to meet peers to feel less isolated, live well and do things they enjoy.
