New free clinics to upskill grassroots coaches across Sunderland
Foundation of Light are set to upskill grassroots coaches across Sunderland with our FREE Coaches Clinics.
Eight goals scored. Three Sunderland goal scorers. A pulsating 90 minutes.
Amad Diallo, Jack Clarke and Joe Gelhardt all found the net against Hull City during Good Friday’s dramatic 4-4 draw, and you could own the one-off match worn red shorts of every player who represented the Lads.
The Black Cats back of shorts sponsor, Eleven Sports Media, demonstrated their support for the Foundation, by gifting their sponsorship to support the charity’s Small Change Big Difference campaign.
To mark Foundation Matchday, our campaign took centre stage, showcasing the charity’s life-changing work and as part of the dedicated matchday, the players wore commemorative warm-up shirts donning the Foundation of Light logo.
The unique red shorts and warm-up shirt were be signed by the players after the match to raise vital funds for the campaign, to help families who are increasingly feeling the impact of the cost-of-living crisis and rising energy costs.
Both items are now available to bid for via the online auction platform Matchworn Shirts.
All proceeds from the auction will go the Small Change Big Difference campaign.
