Foundation of Light and Sunderland AFC revealed the new Championship fixtures during a special networking event at the Beacon of Light.
Hosted by BBC’s Jeff Brown, Fixtures Breakfast is a highlight in the football club charity’s event calendar, with over 200 guests making the early start to attend.
The event featured a panel discussion with SAFC representatives Steve Davison and Kristjaan Speakman, alongside former Black Cats star Danny Collins, who shared their insights and predictions for the upcoming season.
The trio discussed a range of topics, including player recruitment, hopes for the season, and of course the all-important upcoming fixtures.
They also took questions from the audience, providing valuable insights to local business owners and Sunderland supporters alike.
Foundation of Light CEO Lesley Spuhler shared her thoughts on what is always an incredibly important day in the Foundation calendar: “Fixtures Breakfast is an event we all look forward to. It gives us an opportunity to showcase our Beacon of Light home and it also allows us to all come together to celebrate Sunderland AFC – we’re all very much looking forward to the season ahead.
Fixtures Breakfast is one of four Business Breakfasts hosted with the Foundation’s IT services partner, Aspire Technology Solutions.
The award-winning computer support and service provider works alongside Sunderland AFC’s official charity, helping the Foundation with cloud, connectivity and IT support.
The partnership also sees Aspire sponsor quarterly business networking events at the Beacon, presenting the opportunity to bring together like-minded local organisations to meet with the Foundation’s extensive partner network.
