Sunderland fan and long-time Foundation of Light supporter Mark Laws was the lucky winner of our first-ever
Ha’way and Play draw.
Ahead of the first cash prize being drawn this weekend against Portsmouth, one early bird ticket purchaser was picked to win a shirt signed by a player of their choice.
Mark from Stevenage had his number drawn during Tuesday night’s win over Crewe Alexandra and decided he’d go for a shirt from striker Charlie Wyke.
“How awesome to win the first draw!” Mark told the club’s official charity.
"I am a big fan of the impact the Foundation of Light continues to have in the area. When the new
Ha’way and Play lottery was launched I was more than happy to have a go and lend my support especially in these very different times!
“It’s nice to be able to take part now as living away I’ve never been able to until it moved online.”
The
Ha’way and Play lottery offers more ways to play, more prizes to win and it’s a great way to support the football club’s official charity.
The first cash prize draw takes place this weekend, with the lucky winner being chosen during the Lads’ game with Portsmouth.
The revamped matchday lottery comes following fan feedback, where we asked supporters their thoughts and how they would like it to work.
