Every day a school day for Lynne

Every day a school day for Lynne
Lynne Gallon is delighted with her recent success thanks to the Foundation of Light when she returned to education after over 25 years. Brave Lynne made the step to join our Back in the Game programme, as she looked to enhance her skills and gain further qualifications. She decided to study our Introduction to Health and Social Care BTEC as part of the free Back in the Game programme. The free employability scheme helps raise skills and confidence, while offering industry recognised qualifications and real job opportunities to put students on the pathway to further education or employment. “The last time I was in education was in 1993 when I graduated from University,” Lynne explained. “It was very daunting, and as I have found, education has changed so much, but I really enjoyed this course and the teaching methods the tutors use. “Every day really is a school day.” Back in the Game is one of many programmes hosted by the Foundation of Light that help individuals enhance their skillset, offering learners direct access to employment or further education opportunities at the end of the programme. Up to 76% of participants gain employment or training with 90% gaining a qualification.
