Local businesses back Foundation campaign

Local businesses back Foundation campaign

Samson has been on his travels again this week, expressing his gratitude to North East businesses for getting behind the Foundation’s Small Change Big Difference campaign.

After visiting Stack Seaburn just two days ago, Samson paid a visit to HLA Services on Thursday.

HLA Services, the North East's leading Air Conditioning, Climate Systems and Temperature Control specialists, are just one of many local organisations who have pledged generous donations ahead of Foundation Matchday on Good Friday.

The SAFC icon headed to the Boldon-based company in good spirits, with the Black Cat ready to put HLA staff through their paces.

After First Team players Alex Pritchard, Luke O’Nien and Daniel Neil took on the Foundation of Light Creme Egg Challenge, HLA were next in line to see how many keepy-ups they could do with a Creme Egg.

Foundation staff and participants celebrated Red and White Day at the Beacon of Light on Thursday albeit we weren’t the only organisation to fly the red and white flag.

On the penultimate day before Foundation Matchday, the official charity of Sunderland AFC encouraged as many businesses as possible to celebrate the work of the charity by wearing their red and white colours.

HLA didn’t disappoint, donning some classic Sunderland strips, leaving Samson the Cat speechless with their impressive efforts.

We would like to thank HLA Services for their support towards our Small Change Big Difference campaign.
